"After having decided on a Beauceron, I contacted Angie of Joie De Vie through the ABC website. From my initial contact with Angie in the summer of 2016, she has been nothing but helpful and informative. I wanted a pup who had potential in both showing conformation as well as sports and Angie took the time to get to know me and share her knowledge.

Because this was going to be my first "show" dog, I asked Angie to choose a pup she felt would best suit me. Well, in February 2017, I was given the opportunity to adopt my first Beauceron, a female, rust and tan, who I named Mercedes.

Mercedes is amazing! At 8 weeks of age, she came "pre-socialized" due to Angie's dedication to socializing her pups---and "out-shined" all the other pups in all her puppy classes--she was so confident! She wanted to visit and explore everyone and everything! I continued her socializing at 9 weeks of age with 3 puppy socials weekly and daily trips with me followed by puppy obedience training classes, which I continue to do now.

My "potential" show dog, ended up being very successful in conformation showing as well and has earned many points towards her championship! I have yet to choose a "sport" --though continue to work on her obedience and socialization. The trainers I have worked with to-date, state that she is so well-balanced that she would excel in just about any dog sport! Now to choose....:-)

Lastly, even though I adopted Mercedes 9 months ago, Angie has been there every step of the way! And she is still there today for Mercedes and me, cheering us along!"

“Upon learning that Joie de Vie Beaucerons offers puppy raising, training and post-crop ear posting after 8 weeks of age, this was something I was always interested in considering when I got a puppy from Angie.

Fast forward… Versace is my first ever cropped puppy and I always knew I would only do so if I could leave my puppy with her for at least one month post-op (sooo worth it, and few have the posting expertise that Angie and Dan possess). Having spoken to Angie extensively over the years of knowing her, the first month right after being cropped not only presents the steepest learning curve for owners, but it is the most critical time to set beautiful ears for a lifetime.

Along with posting ears perfectly, thus setting them perfectly, Angie of Joie de Vie Beaucerons does an absolutely spectacular job at puppy raising a puppy that is an absolute joy to live with and more well behaved than most adult dogs I know. Angie is incredibly dedicated to creating a dog that is the best patio dog and adventure dog one could ever dream of. I am so proud to give compliments to how Versace’s breeder raised her whenever we go out, because people are amazed at how stable she is for being so young!

During her one extra month with Angie, I am blown away at the progress Angie made with both her public outings, house training, and setting her ears perfectly, and I will always recommend anyone who isn’t close to her to very, very, very seriously consider leaving their new puppy with her for at least one extra month— if not longer. I am so grateful Angie offers her expertise for additional months to ensure an amazingly behaved puppy and beautiful ears, and this is something I can say without a doubt is 100% worth every penny.

I could truly go on and on about how much I respect both Angie’s Beauceron breeding program and my admiration for her tireless dedication to her dogs and the breed. Suffice to say, I hope she will continue to offer puppy raining, posting, and training services when I get my next Beauceron from Joie de Vie Beaucerons.”
